Scroll.in’s The Field team provides a well-rounded, game-changing coverage for Indian sport. We are looking for enthusiastic and talented journalists with very strong writing and editing skills to join us.

The candidate will be responsible for:

· Identifying and curating the top news stories across various sporting disciplines

· Keen interest in Olympic disciplines as well as coverage of women in sport, with a clear focus on Indian athletes

· Efficiency with live blogging as well as interest in doing longer, feature stories 

· Writing and editing very clean and very balanced copy under time constraints.

· Responding quickly to the news, coordinating closely with the team

· Managing aspects of production, such as sourcing images and social media elements, along with using appropriate SEO keywords. 

· Well versed with use of social media 

The ideal candidate will have:

· 0 to 2 years of journalism experience. Freshers welcome to apply, but previous experience with an organization will be a bonus.

· Impeccable writing and editing skills.

· Knowledge of news wire services and social media channels.
