Scroll is hiring. We’re looking for a well-informed and talented video journalist with at least five years of experience to join our news team as a reporter and lead producer, and help expand the reach of our award-winning journalism in newer formats.

The candidate will be expected to bring journalistic rigour, creativity, and sharp technical skills to a range of video productions in both short and long formats. 

They will be required to:

1. Report on video stories independently, as well as alongside reporters.

2. Produce interviews, explainers and podcasts, in coordination with editors and hosts.

3. Write and edit scripts for Scroll’s video documentaries and feature reports.

4. Oversee the functioning of the video team, comprising producers and editors.
