Scroll is one of India’s most exciting newsrooms committed to doing impactful journalism.

We are looking for a video intern to shoot and edit videos in a fast-paced news environment.

The work would entail:

‣ Basic camera work to shoot pieces to camera and interviews

‣ Edit and assemble raw footage into a high-quality final video

‣ Insert images, short clips and basic effects into videos

‣ Work with journalists to ideate and execute video projects

Requirements:

‣ Proficiency in video editing software (e.g: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro etc)

‣ Basic knowledge of video codecs, formats and exporting for different platforms.

‣ A degree or diploma in video editing, or a related field. Final year students will also be considered as long as they can work full-time for the duration of the internship.

‣ A basic portfolio that can showcase your skills. This could include profession, academic or even personal work.

Duration:  Three months

Location: Delhi

This is a paid position.
Interns who excel at this job would be considered for a permanent position at Scroll.
